During the summer we hosted three successful weeks of Summer Camps for young players in our Little Sparks (ages 6-10) and Tomorrow’s Trailblazers (ages 11-15) age groups with support from Scottish Gas.
The camps provided plenty of football, fun and sunshine, with participants enjoying a packed schedule of coaching sessions, games and activities throughout the summer. To make the experience even more memorable, the girls were surprised by visits from new first-team signings Jessi Rossman, Kelly Brady and Yana Kotyk, who arrived wearing the club’s new home kit.
The trio got involved in a range of activities the campers, including Simon Says, a crossbar challenge, 7 a-side matches and a football-themed game of “This or That” with Yana.

The visits gave the young players the opportunity to meet members of the first-team squad, ask questions and create lasting memories both on and off the pitch.
The excitement didn’t stop there, with campers also getting an early look at the new Glasgow City home shirt and sharing their thoughts on the latest design. The feedback from the toughest critics out there were full of positivity, with many keen to show their support for the team in the new colours.
It was a fantastic few weeks of football, friendship and fun, and we would like to thank everyone who attended for making this year’s Summer Camps such a success.
