Back in June, our NextGen U15s Academy side capped off an impressive season by reaching the League Plate final, where they faced Hamilton Accies at Kirkintilloch Rob Roy.  

Despite coming up against an experienced Hamilton squad featuring older players, the young City side rose to the challenge and delivered a determined performance. With several U13 players stepping up to support the squad, the team showcased the talent, resilience and togetherness that have been on display throughout the season.  

It was an entertaining and competitive contest, with Esme Kelly getting on the scoresheet for City. While Hamilton Accies ultimately claimed the trophy, our players can be immensely proud of the effort and character they showed on the day. 

The occasion was made even more special by the fantastic support in the stands, with friends and family creating a brilliant atmosphere as they cheered the team on from start to finish.  

Everyone at Glasgow City is incredibly proud of the hard work, commitment and progress shown by the U15s throughout the campaign. Reaching the league plate final is a fantastic achievement, and we look forward to watching their continued development in the seasons ahead.
