As part of the Spirit of Springburn festival we were delighted to welcome a number of Ukrainian residents who have since made Glasgow their home to our ScottishPower Women’s Premier League match against Spartans.

Working with the Partick Thistle Charitable Trust, Balgaray Ukrainian Tenants Association and the Association of Ukrainians in Great Britain we were able to offer free tickets for individuals from these groups to experience what a matchday at The Peasy is all about.

They also had time to get photos taken and to chat with our Ukrainian internationals Nicole Kozlova and Yana Kotyk. We look forward to continuing to build our connection with the Ukrainian community in the city we call home over the coming season.
